Soft drinks are sold at higher MRP

Hi,

This is Kishore from Lucknow. I am concern about the selling price of Soft dinks of two famous brand (Pepsi and Coke) in Lucknow. As we know that small bottle (200 ml) have MRP of Rs. 9/- then why all shopkeepers in Lucknow sold them at Rs. 10/-. When i asked few of them then they replied we are selling these soft drinks after chilling thats why we are selling them at 1 rupee higher. The same is happening with 300 ml bottle.

We inform you that we are facing a lot of problems in the Kishan Ganj Market, Delhi-7. Many people are selling the eating foods, tobacco shops on the footpath, near Bus Stand, near Kishan Ganj Railway Station, adjouning kishan ganj dispensary. They are selling unhygienic eating foods and alchohal. In this context, many children, men, women have been effected with the diseases of Stomach, Wamitting, fever, etc. Also some pickpocketers are seen in these places. Even though, you can not walk on this footpath due to they are busy with this unauthorized shops walas on footpath.

MISBEHAVIOR OF SHOPKEEPER

I purchased 2 Syrup from a shopkeeper.after going home i wanted another company's syrup.so without opening the syrup with in 10 minutes i reach at shop. I asked the shopkeeper to exchange the Syrup but he refused saying it is a leading company and he don't have the other one. He was not ready to provide the bill for the same & there is no such kind of notice on the display for that the Food Items are not taken Back and then he started abusing, saying I should have sense to check the syrup before buying.

I want to know if this behavior of the shopkeeper is acceptable. Please advice.

Spoiled dates with full of fruit warms and insects.

This is Kiran from Bangalore; I am regular user of Lion dates past 1 year, last 2 weeks back I purchased 2 x 500 Gms packets at Big Bazaar, Koramangala, Bangalore, No one in my family has examined keenly the dates as we have a faith in your products. My sister's kids got hospitalized after eating the dates in the first packet,They got nervous and called me to hometown in andhra. I doubted the food quality and opened the second packet, I was shocked by watching at the dates, they were full of fruit warms and small insects inside it. I am very serious on this as the quality of the food you are supplying was harmful to the people and affected in losing my money as well as my family members health.

Cadbury Nutties filled with Plastic

Hello, This is Rohit from Bangalore. I am a big fan of your chocolates. I just bought Nutties from a near by vendor. To my suprise I didnt chew them and found small pieces of plastic inside the chocolate. I still have the sample. I am really sad that i quality of your products are sick. Just imagine if it goes inside a child. I know you people really dont care. But i am not going to leave you so easily. Please let me know what to do? I will be waiting for your reply.

Swasthik Milk Bangalore Not mentioning date

Sir

I have seen Swasthik Milk in the shops without date. Please note that in the shops they are selling after 2 3 days also. I have experienced with the bad milk many times from a shop. Kindly take action against this. Inform them to keep date system and help the consumers and protect health of the consumers.

Shopkeeper denied return

I purchased 3 packs of balaji chips from a shopkeeper, one of the pack contained chips which were smelling. I asked the shopkeeper to exchange the pack but her refused saying it is a new pack. He said he cannot exchange the opened pack and started abusing, saying I should have sense to check the pack before buying.

I want to know if this behavior of the shopkeeper is acceptable. Please advice.

stale butter

I have purchased 500 gm Amul Butter which was packed on August-2009. It has a very bad taste and foul smell and it was pink in colour. I have complained to Amul customer care Dept. but there was no response. Moreover the executive Mr. Pankaj was highly rude and would just postpone the issue. Finally when nothing was done, they didn't even care if the matter goes on the consumer forum.
I had no other alternative but to file a complaint here.
Please, kindly look into this matter and do the needful.

over charging by retail vendor in chandigarh

IN SPITE OF SENDING REMAINDER'S THE COMPANY IS NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO REPLY TO THE MAILS SENT BY ME FOR EXCEPTING THE FACT THAT THE VENDOR HAS CHARGED HIGHER THEN THE MRP ON THE PACK.

VENDOR SAYS THE MRP IS RS.150/- INSTEAD OF RS.100/-, SECONDLY IF IT IS A PRINTING MISTAKE RAJDHANI GROUP SHOULD AT LEAST REPLY TO THE MAIL SENT & EXCEPT THE MISTAKE.

I have serious complaint agaist Kellory Bread company.They are playing with our health and manuplating with dates.I bought a white bread on 3rd Aug and it had a manuf. date of 6th Aug.,now how can we trust the company's other product.

Worms found in Lion Dates since April 2009

This mail is to make a complaint against Lion Dates, Trichy, TamilNadu.

It has been observed that the dates repacked by this comapany are spoiled and alive worms have been reported since April 2009. I myself observed alive worms TWICE. Once packet was purchased from Bangalore and another was purchased from Trichy, TamilNadu.

These dates are consumed by Childrens and Pregnent Womens. This is an ISO 9000 company and NO ACTION has been taken for the past 4 months. so BEWARE of LION DATES.

I wanted all the people to know about this so that no life is lost by consumption of these spoiled food.

Cadbury Bournvita - Lil Champs product

In the 3rd week of June I purchased a container of Lil Champs Bournvita packet of 500gm for my two little daughters aged 5 and 3. The same was purchased from our local medical shop next to our residence.

When the product is mixed and after through stirring in the hot milk or water and after the consuming of the same, there are some black thick residuals that are left behind. On closely checking this residual by smell and taste it resembled to some sort of Mud or a black tar. This repetedly seen after consuming of the milk.

I lodged the complaint on 04.07.09 by email to their service department and after many follow ups and phone calls and even writing a letter that the official's from Cadbury responded. They plainly rejected my claim stating it to be sedimentation of some product that is left behind. On verifying this to my family members and others they too confirmed and were surprised to see this residuals left behind.

Cadbury officials were very casual and careless in verifying my claim. Hence I need to lodge this complaint in your forum so as to make aware to the general public in total and especially the product of Cadbury.

I the undersigned Mahesh Vijaybahadur Vishwakarma residing at the aforesaid address was traveling in Chhapra- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus train from Azamgarh to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 05/06/09 which reached Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 06/06/09 at about 4.25pm. The PNR Number of my ticket was 246-1194102.

On my board in the train and during my journey from Azamgarh (UP) to Lomanya Tilak Terminus (Maharashtra) I had to face various problems which I herewith wish to bring to your kind notice for rectification and public benefit purpose, they are as under….

1. Non availability of Pantry car in the train and hence open invitation to unauthorized vendors.

In Navi Mumbai area specifically in Airoli I have noticed in all the grocerry shops, General Stores and refreshment corners overcharging for refrigerated items such as cold drinks, water bottles and other packed food items.

I just want to know that in what conditions overcharging above MRP is allowed and if not allowed what action can be taken against such mischeivious shopkeepers?
